The Sim handbrake from Heusinkveld Engineering is a versatile pressure sensitive handbrake that uses load cell technology. The lever can be set in a horizontal or vertical position with adjustability of up to 26 degrees so you can fine tune it to the perfect position. Maintaining the same dimensions of the classic sim handbrake with a more compact base yet it can handle a much higher force.
The lever actuates a 120kg load cell, resulting in up to 22kg of actual force measured at the lever

All structural parts are CNC precision laser cut steel with a bead blasted or fine structured powder coat finish
A 2 stage spring system provides resistance when pulling the lever. An initial metal coil spring simulates the pad to disc gap or slack on the handbrake cable. The main loading on the handbrake is simulated by compressing the elastomers, giving an unprecedented progressive brake feel. The Sim Handbrake comes with a powerful configuration tool that allows you to set up the handbrake. Smart Control allows for instant mapping of (non linear) output curves, dead zone and handbrake force. All settings can be saved into profiles and can be loaded up again in a few mouse clicks. Included with the handbrake: Three elastomers, soft, medium and stiff, adaptor plate with yaw adjustment for aluminium profiles and a USB cable to connect the handbrake to a PC
